When did you join roller derby? 2015

What brought you to Free State? What brought me is my BFF OmaGeddon (retired). What kept me is the league’s incredible spirit of openness, inclusion, support, and encouragement.

How did you find Free State? My best friend joined and I thought it sounded fun, so I did too.

Which leagues/teams are you affiliated with? (e.g. Suzies, Villains, Team Maryland, DCRG, CCRG, etc)

Just FSRD.

Are you a member of any committees or have off-skates roles?

I am the head NSO, and now head of officiating.

Do you have a skating/athletic background?

Not much. I ice skated as a child, played HS sports but am not terribly athletic. I joined FSRD as an NSO, didn’t start skating until last fall.

Likes: coffee, whiskey, chocolate cake, raptors (birds not sports teams), thunderstorms.

Dislikes: IPAs, unkind people.
