Open scrimmage/scrimmage practice details
Skaters should bring black and white jerseys with their numbers legible on the back.
All skaters must either (1) be cleared to scrimmage/bout with their current league or (2) if not currently affiliated with a league, have passed WFTDA minimum skills or the equivalent.
Please note that, if our trainers have safety concerns, they may ask a skater to step back from scrimmaging.
We adhere to current WFTDA rules and the WFTDA gender policy (i.e., our scrimmages are not co-ed).
Skills practice details
We start with an off-skates warmup upstairs, so please bring sneakers.
We welcome not only scrimmage-ready skaters but also trainees/freshies to visit our practices, depending on how the visitor’s skill level aligns with our current training cycle.
If you’re interested in visiting our freshie training, please include that in your inquiry email.
Health & safety
If you are experiencing any symptoms, have been exposed, or otherwise suspect you may have any contagious illness, please skip this one. We'll see you next time!
Masks are welcome/encouraged, but not currently required. We provide N95s and KN95s at practices and scrimmages.
At open scrimmages or other public events (i.e., bouts, mixers), FSRD recommends, but does not require, COVID vaccinations for skaters, officials, and any other attendees.
At regular practices, FSRD requires up-to-date COVID vaccinations for skaters, officials, and any other attendees.
